Gun Control

I support the right of citizens to own guns for self protection and sport. 

I had misgivings about the concealed carry law before it was passed in Ohio.  However, since it has been in effect for a couple of years and there have been no barroom shootouts, I am less apprehensive about it. I like the idea that a criminal may be deterred from assaulting a citizen by the possibility that the intended victim may be carrying a gun.

I do not support the ownership of assault rifles, long range armor piercing rifles and other non-sport rifles.
